1st December 2017: RPCSG Christmas Social

The Christmas Social will be held in St Andrews Church Hall, and our usual caterer Mange Bien will again provide a hot and cold buffet meal. There will be a quiz and a raffle during the evening. Arrival time is from 7:00 p.m. with the meal being served from about 7:30 p.m. As this is still the year in which we are celebrating the 10th anniversary of the founding of the RPCSG, the cost of the meal will be subsidised by the group, and so the cost will be outstanding value at only £10 per person. The event will be a 'Bring Your Own Drinks' occasion, at which you should bring your own drinks, alcoholic or otherwise, for your own consumption. As a further celebration of our anniversary, a complementary drink will be provided on your arrival; we will offer a choice of red wine, white wine, or a soft drink. Glasses for this and your own drinks will be provided.

The number of attendees is limited to 68, so to avoid disappointment please either arrange payment as soon as possible or reserve places by emailing our Treasurer, Roger Bennett, advising him of how many places you require, and how you would like to make payment. Roger's email address is: saroban@btinternet.com

Payment may be made in one of three ways:

  • By cash or cheque payable to 'Reading PCSG' at the forthcoming Group meeting on Friday 3rd November.

  • By cheque posted to Roger at 52 Deanfield Road, Henley-on-Thames, RG9 1UU.

  • By BACS online system. If you wish to pay by BACS please email Roger at the above internet address for details.

Social Events

Here we capture a few photographs taken at our Events throughout the year. The main focus will be talks given by Professionals in the field of Prostate Cancer. Where the speaker agrees we will include a link to their slides and video clips so that all may study the material, share it with others and improve awareness of this wide spread form of cancer affecting around a half of all men at some point in their lives.

We also intend to cover social activities involving our members. In all cases you have the final say on what is included - especially where you are caught in a photograph - many of these might be off-guard! Names are not included except for those giving talks and have otherwise agreed to release this information.

Summer Social 9th August 2017
